New second boat

I have been trying to find a boat to keep in Dublin for the past few months, nothing suitable turned up so I am collecting this tomorrow morning! It’s a 2005 quicksilver 8m commander. Powered by a mercury Verado 275. I needed something that will be reliable and be safe for kids. I will still be keeping my rib to use in the west coast too! I’m starting to form my own fleet!

Nice fleet, where are you going to base the Quicksilver?

Dun Laoghaire marina for the next few months. I was thinking about taking a month or two off and a trip around Ireland on one of the boats. I also have an old currach (a traditional West of Ireland boat) which I would love to do the trip in but wouldn’t be practical enough!
