You and Puller would've had fun. He was quick, but the mean streak was mean.

Hi guys just checking in from crete, the ribbing here is great ... Not quite a good as the ribs in the Deep South of the US but good nonethe less.
To be frank I knew nothing of ribs prior to May this year then researched .... I need a family rib not a thunderdog or a helmets required rib. It's a bit like .... Maserati or bmw or Skoda .....I will always go Maserati quirky but good underneath you just need to be converted .....open your minds...

Yer! He had you well corralled...
I roll around Boatmad a bit - he seems to have mellowed a tad.
Or something.

I am a newbie to this but got the bug from a mate of mine for Ribbing. Did Powerboat Level 2 before parting with the hard earned.
So looking for tips and any insurance recommendations. I get it on the 23 Aug so a bit of time yet to sort the bits and bobs out.
Looking forward to getting on the water!!

Hi Max, good luck with your Brig.
We are in our third season with our 5m Brig and have had a lot of fun with it on Anglesey - near Holyhead on the naughty North coast.
Generally very happy with the boat and have been right around the island more than once and done nearly 500 miles in her.
Hope to see you on the water sometime!

We launched this weekend from Gallows Point. Great day went around puffin ...no puffins! Seals and dolphins abound tho! Then went through Swellies lunch at Dylan's ....perfect.
Next weekend fishing ...
Really happy with and the customer service from Wolf Rock.

Past Caernarfon, through Abermenai point, hang a right following the channel alongside the bar and keep going across the bay to Llandwyn Island lighthouse. V picturesque. Alternatively ask the "Southern Strait pilot" to take there! Chris Caton is always out and heading there for a coffee!
This was when it was v lumpy just outside. Always shelter here unless a Southerly, which is rare.

don't tell him Paul, it's for those more adventurous ribnobbers to find these little gems, where's the fun in it if everything is handed over on a plate
too late

I'm more impressed that you managed to get a table at Dylans for lunch!
They obviously don't like the cut of my jib cos every time I try and book they pi$$ themselves laughing and politely tell me that they've been fully booked for weeks...
