Newbie with a question about Carson ribs

Hi

First post.

Looking at buying my first RIB, with a budget of about £5000 - £7000.

I have seen a Carson 5.5m offered for sale at what appears to be a good price, significantly cheaper than a similar spec Searider.

Now I know a lot about Seariders and their reputation but nothing about Carson.

Are they of similar quality to the Avon boats?

Is the apparent premium for the Avon worth it?

Any advice or information would be most welcome!

Many thanks

Hi,

Carson RIBs have had a low profile for the last few years but are now back in production.

They have a reputation for being no nonsense solid boats.
