Is there anywhere up Newtown creek to stop off and have a beer and grub.

Never been there is it worth a trip???

Very nice little pub up at Shalfleet but difficult to get to by water. I seem to remember that you have to land at Shalfleet Quay and take quite a brisk walk. Keep an eye on the tides though or you will be left high and dry on 'orrible black smelly mud

The creek is very picturesque but the speed limit of 5knts is rigidly enforced.
