Value..

2004 New about £3200 - £3300
2009 £1500 - £1800

On ebay with lack of others available..

Will probably go for about £1900 - £2300 depends how many bidders want it!!

I know this engine, its from a yacht cub safety boat. Not in bad condition. Paintwork is fairly bad tho always left up against a jetty scratching. I has been looked after fairly well.

I noticed the hood is pretty scratched up, i take it you can still get hold of these from a dealer, probably at a premium though?

Are there companies that renovate cowls?

It's quite an enjoyable process as it comes together you can use the same stuff that your going to fill your bolt holes with.don't use the orange pigment though

Hood is not an issue..

The scruffier they look the less they are likely to be nicked!!

RIBase
Very nice and very rare. I've been looking for a decent 50hp for ages. Most are hammered having spent their life pushing prawn boats out of Whitby.

Think a new hood is around the £400 mark from a main dealer.

As an alternative to a new cowling you could always try one of those companies that shrinkwrap vans with fancy signwriting. Probably wouldn't cost too much and you could have design you like. would look awesome but probably make it very nickable!!!

It really annoys me when you come up with a good idea I was thinking of doing something with the cowl for Deja Voodoo cos I don't know any airbrushers, I think they can also print on to transfer film as well?

Tea break over back to the hostilities!

Yep, drove 600 odd miles to get it. Has quite a few scratches and scuffs but will get that sorted and came with a nice digital gauge too.

Just got to figure how to get the thing out of my car as it took 3 of us and a forklift to get it in.

Can't wait to get it on the Searider and i hope it will be as good as everyone says?
