Non OEM Power Trim & Tilt
Dear all,
I have had major problems with the power trim & tilt units on my dual Yamaha F115's.
The RIB (Zodiac Medline III) is moored for the season in Bombay, India which being tropical is a high fouling zone.
The engines sit quite low in the water and part of the trim units are always submerged. Compound that with stray current issues and it is a hell hole for metal.
After having gone through a NEW trim unit in 2 years, I am now considering retrofitting with a non oem unit such as CMC.
Does anybody have any experience with them and if yes, would you recommend it for my application?
