Northcraft Ribs

I have had my Northcraft RIB for 18 years from new and it has been excellent. I decided this year that it needed some TLC and so I took it into Northcraft in Hull for a refit. The results were superb and it is now like a new boat.

They always were a decent well built RIB in the "Traditional British" manner...hence the longevity!
Not heard so much of them these days, are they doing OK?

I know someone with a 6.3 with a sooz 90hp so it is hardly overweight, transom cracked after about 18 months, it was bought brand new.

The boat is never out in any weather as it is a training boat so it spends its life teaching people how to steer and dock. Was surprised that the transom cracked but there ye go.

Cheers
