So off the top of my head there's at least one big redbay that was delivered there, but I think the story you are thinking of will be Mike and his wife in Magellan Echo... Note I might have the boat name wrong...

I also think one of the parkers has gone to Denmark.

OK I have refreshed my memory - Mike Garside sold Magellan Echo and then built Magellan Zulu for this trip: http://www.rib.net/forum/f8/heading-...way-55386.html

I believe the Gillespie Brothers went to Norway as well.
They said they went, arrived, nobody spoke English, they went up and down one fiord in the rain and then came back again.

Bouncer II or Bouncer the 11m? The family who commissioned the Bouncer Series are now on a 12m twin 370hp. They've been everywhere

There's any number of Redbays that headed in that direction - Faroes, Sweden, Norway, Estonia. The one that impressed me the most was the 8.4m Expedition that went to Sweden via the Caledonian Canal. They crossed the North Sea in "worsening conditions" and would have been at the outer limits of their fuel plan. Tough lads, tough boat.

Pasty shop down 'ere.

P'raps pasty gravy is the same. I'll give it a do.

Lee, the Plymouth Argyle (Green Army) fan will be here soon defending Asda.
