Yes, if this is a Ribworker (which I believe it is) it has been for sale very recently and i think it still is.
http://thamesadventures.com/default.htm

The boat is currently moored in the centre of the Thames by Cheyne Walk in Chelsea alongside a Dutch Barge. Occassionally its moored at Cadagon Pier.

I see the boat every day and it's in good condition. It also has quite a history as an atlantic crossing Rib.

I know the owner very vaguely, Neil, and see him from time to time.

We went to see a tohatsu 6.1 sold by niel, and it was an absalute dog! Even his engineer said so and asked why we would spend 7500k on a rib that only ran on 1 cylinder, had a hole in the port side hull after hitting something, didnt do anything past 7kn and was supposed to have a new trailer, but realy had a chassis that needed new suspension units on! It was advertised in Rib International "as new" but really was a picture of when he got the boat new. The magazine removed it from the advert because of its misleading info. His engineer felt sorry for us, as we had driven all the way from Durham to see this pile a *&%% and even gave us a lift back to our car. If you want to have a look at his ribworker, feel free, as we only saw the the boat at a distance, but make sure you have a chat with the engineer first as he knows all about our "niel"

Thanks for the reply Tim. He was advertising this in Rib International towards the end of last year for £75k which is a little out of my budget. May be worth a phone call though?

Just been speaking to a nice chap called Lucas who runs Mustang Marine. They have been building the Ocean Dynamics boats for years. They are going to continue the business now Shaun has gone.

http://www.mustangmarine.com/

I asked Lucas if there were any S/H boats for sale and he said he knows of a diesel waterjet 8 or 9m going cheap.

If you are interested email him on

Shaun White - one of the fathers of RIBs and the bloke who created Ocean Dynamics and Ocean Rafting or Seafaris or whatever you want to call them. A VERY sad loss.
