Agreed. Saw it a few times around the Caribbean and it's unreal. Apparently it's also got a mahooosive tropical aquarium which shares a glass wall with a swimming pool on board too.
An altogether better experience when you get invited to 'swim with the fishes'

LGB has been into Fal a few times. Abramovich bought her for a former business partner allegedly. Pelorus has also been in, she's the size of a cross channel ferry! :-/

Wasn't it Abramovich's yacht that had a couple of recreational submarines? Or was it some other (overly) rich guy?

The kind of wealth required to buy that type of thing is just mind boggling.

A few years' ago I read the book about him by a couple of Sunday Times reporters: 'The Billionnaire from nowhere'. Absolutely fascinating.
Born with absolutely jack-all in one of the wildest, remotest parts of the old Soviet Union, orphaned as a young child, brought up by an uncle in Moscow, started working on a building site, moved to selling Mercedes Benz in Russia's first Merc dealership, etc, etc.
Right place, right time (when vodka-sozzled Yeltsin defaulted on some loans) allied to a degree of charm, utter ruthlessness, political savvy, a survivor's instinct and a set of loyal lieutenants, it's a good read, to say the least!

The next fashionable toy will be a tender to carry your toys - so you don't even have to hoik them up on your own deck.
One of the Dutch yards has a 24m boat which has a sole purpose of carrying the toys. It looks a bit like a fancy offshore supply boat.

They've been around for a few years - known as "shadow boats" they follow the main yacht around and carry the toys.
