I don’t know!
It quite good fun crossing the Bay of Biscay in a force 9 on the pride of Bilbao, especially when you pop into the dining room for a nice big fried breakfast.
Last time everyone was running for the doors looking very green at the gills!

All depends on whose reports you believe - some people now say the ship was NOT hit by any RPGs.
Have read in some reports it was an "electronic acoustic bang" - whatever made the noise it seems that the noise was intended to make them think they were underfire rather than disrupt their hearing etc - or so the reports say!!!

loose bowels and shaken bones
Perhaps combining different sound systems could be interesting

A more potent weapon under development in Russia since the early 1990s is a high powered very low frequency (VLF) modulator. Operating at frequencies below 20 KHz, the device requires a 1-2 meter dish to project a so-called "acoustic bullet." The device was attractive because the power level is adjustable. At low power, the system would cause physical discomfort, while increasing the power could induce nausea, vomiting and abdominal pains. The highest levels can cause a person's bones to resonate, which can be quite painful.
