Ok then What about a Rev Counter??

Having taken the advice from my previous thread I have decided against fitting a Speedometer and will use the GPS to measure my speed. However I still have a hole to fill on my dashboard and now Im wondering how easy it would be to fit a Rev Counter and wire it into a Suzuki 55 two stroke outboard? As usual any advice would be appreciated.

RIBase
It should plug straight in to your loom-they are usually an option from new and the plugs are in the loom anyway.

If you want to try the DIY approach I think I've got an old universal one here thats a bit tatty that you can try. Drop me a line after next saturday-just leaving to go on holiday.

Yellow cable from the control box loom needs to be connected to the tacho. I think(?) the Sooz 55 runs on 4-pole, so the (universal) tacho needs to be set to suit this. Suzuki tacho should just plug in. I can check the pole setting if you need this
