Old style seats for a searider

We have a deluxe style searider with the two forward facing seat set up. A couple of years ago I got the seats re-upholstered in vinyl but the boat lives outdoors and clearly the stitching on the seats is allowing water in, so every time you sit on the seats you get water coming up from compression of the foam and you get a wet back side, even if the actual seat cover isn't wet!

I am currently adopting the bin liner on seat approach, but does anyone know where I can get seats that wont have this issue, or alternatively how to get them reupholstered to not have this problem - its starting to upset Mrs Steele!

Any helpful advice much appreciated.

Cheers
Ally
