On-line shopping.

Dear all,

Following the very in-depth! Fish / echo sounder debate, I noticed a couple of website's that individuals suggested for good deals. Would it be worth creating a definitive list of sites for general usage?

To get us started.

www.on-line-marine.com

www.marinestore.co.uk

perhaps we can then have the directories updated.

Russell

My dad found these people and the whilst the range of marine bits is limited they are cheap. They have a store near the Northam Bridge in Southampton so must take a trip to see them. Makes a nice change from the outragous prices that some of the South Coast chandlers charge.

This chap (one or two man band really) usually has a few second-hand bits of electronics kit which are all well priced for those with smaller wallets.

I have bought a FishFinder and a VHF from him in the past with no problems at all.

www.craysidemarine.co.uk

(It's a bit strange to navigate - hover over the three buttons at the top and more appear!)

Sections of interest are Electronics (within Sales section) and Bargins (within Specials section).

Daniel that Crayside Marine looks like a very useful and reasonably priced site, thanks.

Here is another one. I've used them (not for mail order though) and found them Knowledgeable and friendly. They are my local chandler in Scotland.

The towsure people do very glossy brochure if you ask for one, lots of cheap straps and winches.

Keep it going, should be useful to us all!
