Opinions for rib

Hi all,
I currently have a ribeye 650s on the west coast of Ireland and love it, keeping it for at least another while. I work & live in the east coast so only get to use rib on weekends. Plans to fix up house have been put on hold so I am thinking about getting a boat to use on the east coast just for this summer.
Originally I was looking at a bowrider as the sea is usually quite calm in Dublin and we would be mostly using it for wake boarding and trips for lunch.
However, I can’t find anything I’m interested in here! I have found the following two ribs. My plan is to keep it in the marina. Mostly leisurely use. I would like to be able to sell it next summer without loosing too much! Any opinions?

Thanks!

For what it's worth, and all other things being equal I'd probably take the Cobra. Better layout for your requirements, and the Cobras I've been out with seem well put together. (Full disclosure: I've never actually helmed one myself)

Nothing wrong with XS mind, just a bit more 'rough'n'ready'.

My only query, looking at the pics would be on the age of the engine on the XS. That doesn't look like a 2009 4 stroke Merc to me. Looks a lot more like one of their newer models. I'm sure someone will be along in a bit to confirm, or shoot me down, but if the engine is significantly newer than the hull, then it's a different ball game.

(Edit: after careful reading the engine is 2012. So that puts the cat amongst the pigeons. Personally I'd rather have a 2012 4-stroke than a 12 year old Opti.)

I love Cobras and that one looks in great condition, we had one for years and did some serious sea miles.

However, in this case I'd go for the XS with the 2012 engine on 200 hours (it says it in the details). It's also a good boat at an excellent price by look of it.

Good for resale value too.

Personally (although I'm based in the far NW and thus not a reliable judge) I would give the DoucheCraft a miss and buy the other one. It looks well set up, with a degree of OCD about it that bodes well for a new owner and resale later.

A friend used to have a 6.8 cobra, i found it quite a nice leisure layout but his engine did go pop. I suspected the Xs was the better choice! Thanks for the advice!
