I'm looking to replace my 10' Zodiac with a larger boat (around 12') that will accomodate a bench seat, steering and remote. I've been offered a good deal on a new Caribe C12 hull. I would fit it out with a 30 hp engine and a Unihelm seat/steering (
www.Unihelm.com). Another dealer disparages this model Caribe as a poor handling "wet" ride. I do note that the C12 is no longer in production, but does anyone have any experience with this boat? My main uses are as going to a summer cottage and back, and it won't get that much use. A good deal is hard to pass up! Thanks.
