Opinions sought

Have seen a boat which might suit us: an XS600 with a Merc Opti 150 on. Its a 2007 boat so I assume the engine is the same age. Only 176 hours on it. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this combo? Is this an vintage of Opti likely to be trouble?

Sounds a good combo . There is opti 150 down here that must be about the same age & is on something like 3500 hours - its ex Christchurch harbour patrol engine...

that s a nice combo, i ve an opti for more than 10 years, did a lot a miles, big challenges etc ... no issue. you should ask if the maintenance has been done every year maybe ....and do a big one once you have it !xs ribs are strongboats so !
