This has now been updated. The details button now works, and I think this is a good feature. The emails addresses are now stored on a completely separate database. Remains to be seen the first person to add their boat but not their email address or vica versa. That will be a pain because one of the aims si to be a way of communication. Next job is to have a picture for each boat!!

He's just jelous because he hasn't got an Osprey and it means there'll be another website/forum that he won't be able to join with any legitimacy .

Clean Hulls!
I have just been through the gallery on the site, I think you need to be careful Oliver, the uninitiated might think that Ospreys are some sort of aircraft, not boats

History section now added. Huge thanks to Kevin Dobson for it and also of course to Pete7 for writing it in the first place. Kevin has also passed on to me and promises to dig out some more stuff relating to the purchase of his Viper from before I was born . Still running well apparently! This includes the Diver magazine article which heralded Osprey's massive commercial success with the Viper.
If anyone else has anything at all relating to the history of the brand then do not hesitate to contact me at any stage. My email address is webmaster@osprey-owners.co.uk
Thanks very much!!
PS. I really enjoyed reading over the history. Concise and to the point, unlike much of my writing - see my Floptilla report for instance

It's martini.je
Ok right, a few updates, and a couple of things to come during the week:
- Team Derksen-Infra added to Racing page along with a brief summary of their racing activities that they have sent me
- More pictures added to the gallery of Chris' boat, a few from Kris at BMC including one very funny one of a Lynx that has gone up a bank
- Couple of new rotating pictures on the front page
- Images added to the database, so now when you click details you get a picture. People had been asking for ages for me to add this but it took ages to work out, eventually found that the reason the photo never appeared is that the default size is 1x1
- Roy has given his official approval
- Bloke called Andy Bell has posted in the forum, reckons there are a few omissions in the History section. I know little about it so could anyone confirm or disprove the points he makes? I have contacted Pete about it, because it's good to be as accurate as possible isn't it.
- The Osprey Owners Association logo should be finished in a few days. Suffice to say you will all be shocked
- Roy has agreed to pass on some more photos
- He has also suggested that he might be able to put a link to it from the official site, which would be good.
- Kevin Dobson has sent me a link to a video of the Celtic Challenge, but I'm not really sure where to put the link. Links page I think.
- Chris (Jardons) build thread coming along nicely
Any suggestions for other banner images? I think the current one is awesome, but I might be able to experiment with a rotating one? If we have a meet in summer we can do some set up shots like this one but with more Ospreys if the Dutch come down
Few other bits and bobs I haven't mentioned will be added sometime this week. I'll post again in a few mins with the statistics for the site, I think they make interesting reading, even over a week. Very detailed, I know where you all live
Please note: I have special permission for all the material on the site. If you wish to reproduce any photos, please contact me first. This includes copying them to ribnet for informational purposes.

Ok. Five similar images showing 5 different things...Just on the off chance anyone was interested....
Pic 1 shows number of visits in each hour from the 10th. It clearly shows how people check the site at lunchtime, or after work...spilling into the early hours
Pic 2 shows the referrer domain ie. if you clicked a link where that link was. Basically all my visitors came from here! this should change though as I begin to spread the message through other forums although there mightnt be as many ospreys outside of here, itll be good to get the link out there
Pic 3 shows the ISP of my visitors, and where they live can be drawn from this. Appears to show that Orange (wanadoo) is the most popular provider, and this would imply that they're all frenchies. Odd!
Pic4 shows what browser people are using. The tools are obviously old as the world now uses Chrome, so by Safari I think most of them will be Chrome users
Pic 5 shows what browsers everyones using. Hurry up and upgrade from XP you lot

The improvements look good Oliver. The photos attached to the details section are a nice touch. I think everyone should have an airborne shot though!

Can you do that when it's on a publicly accessible site? Surely so long as the site is referenced and you are not pretending it's your own work then you can't prevent 'quotation' of something

Bit more complicated than that. Especially since half of the pictures are from sources where I have express written permission. Such as BMC official website (which overides uk obviously), and powerboatracing.be
It's not my copyright to authorise, but I can deem whether appropriate or not. In hindsight, using them for ribnet should be ok
