Snatch is good, rather have a Pinkie though
A 3l Capri might be more suitable for the amount of drifting going on here though

Anyway, goodnight. I'm tired and I have double engish followed by double maths first thing tomorrow, and I haven't done any work for either.

They'd probably be more likely to criticise the stupid fkn MOD and government for making them use stuff that was never designed to be bombproof...

Laser engraved plaques!! Below is a prototype which I've knocked up in 30mins this afternoon, it's by no means perfect and it's very basic!! The idea is that you can have anything you want on it, many people have a plaque with call sign, MMSI and boat name affixed to their console. I can do that and have this logo in the corner, with the site address. I will speak to Kris about using the logo, but I'm sure he will be ok. I will develop the integration of osprey-owners.co.uk and Osprey Owners Association into the design over the next few days, and on Saturday I will engrave a red one with MMSI, call sign and boat name and logo for Into the Red. Other things to do include neatening up the lines, and that's not hard to do so I'll do that tomorrow, and also reversing the image so that it comes out on the better side. Another possibility is 3 dimensional engraving into slightly thicker material, but we'll have to see about that one. Price should be very cheap, (<£8 but don't quote me), and for that you get a highly personalised plaque either in very large for the wall, or to put on the boat. Any colour any design etc.
Massive thanks to Jeff Walker (JW/Jwalker) who has drawn the logo (still under wraps ) of which this is a derivation.
Any interest at all......?

liking velly much, we should speak about vinyl decals..i have the original eps file for doing said logo

In his case, I could make a good case for Martini-Henry or Martini-Enfield. I'd explain away his dodgy byline by saying that he had been confused by the Martini Girl jokes, which caused the expression "martini whatever" to enter common usage. I think I could get my client off.

Sounds good I had thought about doing some vinyls and I'm pretty sure we've got a CADCAM, infact, no, we do. I would be very happy if you could pass that on to me, 'cos the one I've used is off the internet somewhere and it's not exactly high res although that doesn't show on the engraving of course.
I'm not trying to make any money out of this although one or two people have said they might be interested in high end clothing type stuff. The laser is cheap and of course I pay materials only. If we get a few more members we may be able to get an insurance company involved etc.
Oh and for those who want to discuss the stupidity of Labour sending the Snatches and/or wolves/ defenders etc. designed for NI into Afghanistan and Iraq please use the "tow cars" section. Thanks

Was he saying that the use of mis-matched military techniques and hardware in given theaters of deployment is an age old and somewhat inevitable result of perpetual preparedness pitched against finite information.
Or is it that if the Navy used Ospreys there would be peace in our time?

Anyway do you mean:
–adjective
1. extended to great, unnecessary, or tedious length; long and wordy.
1375–1425; late ME < L prōlixus extended, long, equiv. to prō- pro-1 + -lixus, akin to līquī to flow; see liquor
Or Prolix the lubricant?
