Osprey retube
How much would it be to retube a Osprey 5.6 hard nose? Would it be cheaper than normal less material?
Hull is rated to 150hp I have a johnson vro in my garage would this be ott or would this be reasonable to run compared to a 90 which would be working harder?
Boat and trailer really cheap would make a good winter project keep me out of trouble!

Give Eurocraft in Leyland a ring, might have to wait though as they're running a bit behind schedual.

Eurocraft are the only official osprey tubers these day, didnt think they were that busy, nothing of ours is running late.

Its not running that late really, only 3 weeks (not long compared to Codprawns wait
). It's the first time Roy has been let down tho. The timing for me picking it up should have been better as I'm half way though my holiday and wanted to work on it.
That's life

Feels like forever
There was a three month waiting list just to start the build, I feel summers slipping away......
My Engine supplier is chaming at the bit
I blame all these RIBnet Osprey owners that got in there before me.

Hope its finished soon, I'm hoping for a picture of the tube colours to see if the blue will look better than the grey I've sort of chosen.

It was kind of based on this design, certainly what got the grey matter interested.
There's one based on the 5.8m Vipermax that I also sent the Tubers to help them with the layout. I'm keen to see how close they get to this picture

The blue looks very smart! Is the Delphe blue a deep blue, or has it a bit of red/ purple in it? Kinda hard to tell on the screen!
Also, would you mind posting the osprey 5.8 picture without your annotations - its one of the few I've seen that shows the internal layout really well.
Cheers

Here's a bit of Delphe Blue. It's a purpley-blue and brighter than the Ocean Blue, which is more commonly used.

Thanks for that, I think I prefer the ocean blue, so it looks a toss up between that and a grey combo.

I would stick with the grey, the blue will be hot in the sun. Not that i can comment on the sun as we dont have any in Wales
