Does anyone know if an osprey sparrowhawk with engine and trailer weighs less than 750 kg combined weight?

Thanks

I had seen this list. Is the 800kg capacity the max it can be loaded with?

I am just seeing if I can legally tow this boat with my license or if I need take the trailer test to do so

If its an unbraked trailer the max weight inc trailer is 750 kg. Not sure of the new laws regarding test to tow.

As a guide my Aircraft is 350 kg (dry weight) + engine 115 kg + trailer unbraked 240 kg Total weight 705 kg.

The only thing is that I have to be careful with fuel and what else I load on my rib as I am left with only 45 kg to be road legal legal.

So to answer your first question I would say yes it weighs less than 750 kg

The Sparrowhawk 5.2 is listed at 220kg dry weight. Allow roughly:
200kg for 90hp motor, battery and rigging
200kg for the trailer
100kg for fuel and gear
Total 720kg.

I would say you are okay, as these weights are at the top end of the scale, but do check engine and trailer weight before going ahead. For example, some unbraked trailers come in at 170kg, others at 220kg as mentioned.

Hope that helps
