osprey viper 5.75

Hi, does anyone own an osprey viper 5.75 ?? I was was looking for some advice as to what size of engine to would best suit this boat.

Anything between 115 and 150 hp will be fine. Had a 2stroke 115 V4 Yam on my 5.95m Viper for 5 years and it was an great choice.

I ordered a 5.75 to replace my 5.25m in 1994. Only the 5.75m mould was in use so they used the 7m mould but miss judged the were the insert needed to be set. Only found out when I got home and it wouldn't fit in the diving club. A tape measure revealed an extra 20cm. It was a superb handling boat and I regret selling it to Rene.

I had one too had a 100hp 2st on it was OK but wanted more so put a 150 opti on her & she was awesome

Cheers for the replys it sounds like a 150 will be the way ahead , its a heavy boat ok and i was thinking about maybe a 130/140 but i think i will keep on looking for 150 .
