Oh what a Day, finally got it wet ,,,
Had.a Blow out on the car on way down 2 mins from my junction,,, easy to do once you empty all your boaty bits out of he boot lol...
She run like a dream,, no issues apart from intermittent power trim, sort that in morning,
Had a freind with a zapcat, tag along great fun, but hey it's hard graft them little things,
Weather was good sun came out quite a lot, sea was moderate,, occasionally slight gave me a chance to put it through its paces ,,
Hit the Magic speed of 48.8 knots. Not bad in a force 4 in the Bristol Channel , took some nuts to,hold it there tho,,, was getting slapped on the head by my passenger,,
So I chilled out and done the sensible thing,,
I appear to be getting a lot of spray from back of transom ,, may need to lift engine up 1 hole, (more speed if I do) but it was strange the way it was spraying up, have filmed it , sure I set engine cav plate. 2" above base line as I do with most of my set ups,, was dark and tired when I got it back in,,
It was as if I was dragging sumat tho,,,
All in all great build again, just need to check eng height and some wiring gremlins,
One happy chap right now, body aches tho,,,,,,big time
