Looks nice, though I'd probably get rid of the basket ball net from the foredeck (picture 2). Might obstruct your vision a bit.
I can't comment on owning a Tornado, but I'm pleased with my Osprey with a 4 stroke on the back. The only downside I see is the criticism from those that haven't seen the light yet

Nope that's not the one.....
I'd be a bit hesitant about putting a two stroke on the back though... you may find that the...erm..."pleasure" from that boat is more than adequate without adding a two stroke to the mix....after all it is an Osprey "Vibromax"
Should be a good buy, but judging by the advert from when it was on ebay, make sure you deal with the owner not the friend
Barmouth is afterall Osprey HQ, give Roy a ring and I'm sure he'll give you the low down

You wont be disappointed with the handling/build quality of the Tornado, but as has been said the Opti is a bit old... I've heard bad things about them when they're out of warranty.

Yes.
I must have been mistaken or misinformed about it having been kept on Anglesey.

It's been rigged using a standard side mount control box, rather than a flush top mount, which would be commonplace for these consoles, as the throttle & shift cables are then concealed within the console. On this boat, the cables are exposed and enter the console through a grommet, which is a bit unsightly, but I doubt the operation of the controls is compromised with such a set-up. It does have the advantage of a neutral lock, which you don't get with most top-mount control boxes. The standard control box also takes up less space on the face of the console, which leaves more room for instruments.
