outboard 60hp

Hi I have a 5 meter riptide dive rib with a 70hp evinrude on which is old and drinks fuel. Im looking to buy a 4 stroke I not sure what weight the transom will take. So a 60hp mariner bigfoot is about the same weight and a lot better on fuel. but will 10 hp make a lot of difference to the performance of the rib

If you are going to use it for diving purposes, 4 divers & kit, maybe with a coxn also it will be underpowered with a 60 on the back! I would be looking at a 90 if the transom will take it?
