outboard weight Sr4 and SR4.7
Hi,
Could anyone tell me what the max outboard weight for an SR4 and a SR4.7 is? It isnt published at the avon workboat site...
I'd like to buy a SR4.7 and fit it with the new yamaha F70, it only weights 118kg!
Thank you

Does anyone have any more info on the new F70? The current Yam F50/F60 motors also have a 996cc 4 cylinder powerhead. Is this new F70 the same, or a new design?

Hi guys!
I think the F70 is based on the F50 and F60.
Here there is very detailed information about the F70 http://continuouswave.com/whaler/ref...70HotSheet.pdf

Hi,
I have another question, are the new SR4.7 fitted with a tube diameter of 50 cm or 60 cm?
The avon-workboat site says it is 19 1/5" = 60cm But thats wrong!! 19 1/5"= 50 cm

Mine's 2004.
I haven't measured it, but they wouldn't be 60cm - that's massive. 50cm seems right.

I seem to recall the local Avon dealer rigged one with the current 50 Yam to go round the Isle of Wight for a magazine - this was the max HP & weight ( I think ) and even then it was stern heavy so had doelfins fitted.
So I think its around the 117kg level ..............
