This is OutboardServices.co.uk (OSMBoats) former race rib boat, Pascoe SR8, hull #3, that was own and driven by Richard Strawford. Want to thank Steve at OSM Boats and Richard for being very helpful thru this deal. Very happy with everything.
Now it its rigged with a Evinrude G2 250HO, "fly by wire" hand and foot throttle and a extra row of seats in the back. Other then that its the same as before. Have not bin doing any setup or prop test, only driving around and having fun.
The new Evinrude G2 is a great engine, using one of Richards old prop, crusing with 4400RPM doing 40kt with a fuel rate at around 0,87l/NM, 5000RPM at 50kt and under 1l/NM. That with no special setup work, just driving around. With a matching prop my guess is that this one will go 65kt or few more, for now i do back off at 60kt cause I'm not an experience driver, yet!!!
