IIRC the Landrover 110 will pull 3500KG with a braked trailer.

The full reg is visible in the first pic. It's an 08 plate.

Hope everyone was ok.

Second picture: that does not look like a car that's been upside-down and backwards through a ditch with a hedge in it!

Hi this is my sealegs 😩 7.7 wide it was going back Salterns brokerage ( for repair as the port side rear cast leg bracket had a Crack in it ) the craft was just six months old, and in the six months we had lost steering ram at sea ( stuck on beach for a week ) also inboard engine fuel pump went ( common fault) a few more faults plus there was quite a lot of corrosion has appeared on the boat.
Hence why it was going back for the repairs, and then they go an roll it 😡 and it's been two months now and still no reports or help from Salterns !!( it's in there insurance company's hands)
we have had to instruct lawyers for help , and we are having our own survey carried out!
We have even spoke to sealegs but up to date no help from them!
We loved the boat but we feel so let down by Salterns for a boat that we saved up for and they are not cheap but there after care is very Poor!!

Oh dear. Difficult for them to comment on some of the faults you mention now they've killed it!

Surely it'll just end up with a money back scenario.

Hi guy nope , I think they want to repair it and give it me back!
Which as we have told them all along, we don't want the boat back now it's been rolled!
As I've lost confidence in it , but it's down to their insurance company 😩

Plus salterns brokerage driver rolled the boat and if it does get repaired it will be done by their sister company (which will be paid by their own insurance company) so they are quids in! And I will have a 8 months old rolled and repaired boat which will of lost value due to no fault of my own!

Nah, get the lawyers in. Making assumptions based on the price of a 7.7 sea legs I'd imagine you can, I hope. Don't let them fob you off.

Your point if owning an 8 month old rolled boat is exactly why you shouldn't accept it, it's value will have fallen massively. If you'd rolled it, fair enough, it's repairable and like a car, tough luck. But YOU didn't roll it! At worst (though not ideal based in your experience, you'd rather have money back) you want a new or almost new boat. At best, it was never fit for purpose, money back with compensation for lost fun/use etc. go for the middle ground, money back.

Humber P4VWL

Yes we have asked for a new boat, and also compensation while we are without a boat ,and like today here in North Wales the weather an sea have been great , ( I am taking pic etc every time we could of used the rib)

They just seem to be trying to fob us off, but as I said to them at the beginning Salterns/ sealegs are doing themselves no favours as people ask where the boat is an all we can tell them what's happened and how they are treating us.

And yes , we are out of pockets as just paid 1st lawyers bill and just waiting for the survey bill to arrive.

And I was so please with the sealegs that I did tell Salterns that if they had a inquiry ( near me) and anyone wanted a trip out to see what they are like ,I was more than happy to show them the boat!
