Pac 22 stern-jet difference

Hi,

is there a difference in the hulls of a 1992 Pacific 22 for stern and jet drive?
The plan is to install a Castoldi 05.
Any photos of the intake area of a jet hull?

Tom

My Pac 22 has a Hamilton 273 , so the hull layout will probably not apply that much assuming the Castoldi's intake is behind the transom. The vee has been cut back for the intake.
I have included a couple of shots of the BWM hull that was fitted with a Castoldi in case they help. In both cases the vee flattens out before the jet to a flat bottom. The Castoldi workshop manual that can be downloaded from Castoldi's website gives installation information with regards to angles and positioning, drive shaft alignment etc.

The Castoldi 05 has the intake in the hull, IIRC it’s the 06 that has it behind the transom.
Would be great to see some shots of your Pac22 intake area.
The general question is if the Pac22 hull originally with stern drive can (technically correct) be modified for the 05 Castoldi or even better the hull is basically identical before cutting the jet intake opening.

Supposedly, my Pac was a test bed built by Halmatic to try the Jet setup, although I have no official confirmation of this. The Hull looks to have been modified, rather than made from scratch.
It might be worth contacting Home - ddpacifics.com to see if they have any hulls there that had a jet?

I will take some more pictures under mine if you think that would help you.
