Pete7's your man...no doubt he'll see this thread soon. Lots of stuff on here about P22's, do a quick search. As for buying them, they often pop up on boatsandoutboards.co.uk....but I guess you already check that.

Hmm, well perhaps not the prettiest boats around but they do make it to St Malo in a couple of hops. These people have a few for sale down your way (ish) but haven't dealt with them personally. £10k for a basic boat with trailer privately, bit more from a broker. Adjust the price for new tubes, engine rebuild or a good trailer.

and this one has been for sale for about 2 years now.

This one has also been for sale for a while but is very nice , just missed it when I was looking.

Standard fuel tank 80L which is to small so it needs to be changed. Do a search on Pacific console on Ribnet. console not to my liking and standard throttle control box awful but easy enough to change. Engine and leg all mechanical and heavy duty so simple to work on. Engine will go to 160 hp adjusting the FIP and more if you want it with help from Mermaid. Mermaid owners club well recommended btw.

Feel free to ask any other questions

Thanks for the the reply. Where is the best place to get parts for the sternpowr leg? Lancing marine is a bit on the steep side.

Having had to wait 30 minutes for Mike Belamy to fill up his gin palace on Sunday, I now know why they charge so much, huge great pointy thing.

Parts do come up regularly on Boats and outboards or you could try Jamie who has parts from time to time.

Also Andrew Cox who posts on here from time to time is down your way and runs a P22.
