pacific trim tabs?

Hi all, new to the site but just wondering with regards pacific 22 owners, just after refurbishing one and on full power she leans a bit to the left due to the prop rotation, anyone overcome this? anyone fitted trim tabs?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Trim tabs would probably help correct that but I think it's just the nature of the beast at WOT. Mine was a bog standard ex MOD one with the Mermaid and it leaned to starboard when I gave her the wellie. It straightened up again when I eased the throttle back a bit though.
Your one is a cracker... good luck with it!

Jon, I also noticed that with passengers at the back they tend to ride a little bow up. I didn't want to fit fins because I wanted divers to get back in over the stern and they might get in the way so fitted a pair of these:

http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?...highlight=trim

The effect was to lift the stern and lower the bow a fraction giving a longer planning platform and therefore more stable particularly when in strong cross winds which can also induce a lean.

They also reduce the amount of water coming up and touching the tubes at the stern.

Pete

Saw this lovely looking Pac22 in Ocean village the other day. It apears to have been totally refurbished - love the cream deck/interior. I noticed it was fitted with trim tabs....
