Update

They have flown back this afternoon, and a skipper is bringing the rib back tomorrow for them. They are quite lucky as they got chatting to 3 guys from Guernsey collecting another cruiser from Port Solent 2 of which are skippers so one of them is going to bring it back for him.

I would have done it for the price of a return Condor ticket - then again probably cheaper to import a new one.....

Well the rib has gone the skipper has collected and is staying in another marina in the Solent, have spoken to Kevin the new owner and they are planning on making an early start so my guess would be back to Guernsey 10/11am ish if not earlier.

And Hightower that pic is in GUERNSEY!!!!!

Glad to see her safe and sound in the Channel Islands, hope to see her soon.

Tony, do you know who skippered the RIB over to Guernsey?

Nick

I have no idea who skippered the rib over..
As for life jackets, all my family and any guests that come out on my boat wear life jackets or they stay watching from the harbour!!!

I do hope the new owner gets as much pleasure and satisfaction out of her as Richard did.

I guess this ends this thread as we move on to MK2

Needs rougher water I reckon!!!

What are you doing about the name? It is very bad luck to change the name of a boat so you may have to get a new name for your boat if they register theirs!!!
