Pinhole leak in double layer Hypalon tube. I'm thinking a regular patch isn't ideal. Could I patch it like a car tire with a plug? I've included a photo.
No, plug won't work. Is the second layer scuff protection? Or is that the strip that joins the tube to the hull?
In either case, the air-holding is being done by the inner (white) tube; best bet would be to peel the outer layer back, patch the white tube, and reglue the outer layer back on.
