Good luck to him, it's a big challenge for a 14yr old & I hope he's successful in raising money for his charity.

I've posted it on pwc forum and e-mailed Jetskier & pw magazine who will hopefully cover his challenge.

It's a worthy cause so all the best to the kid. I've long been interested in the potential of jet skis to make reasonably long sea passages. I wonder what other people think. I'm too frightened to post on the PWC forum though; they look a scary lot.

To be fair, Jetski Paul wasn't exactly solo. He had a pair of 40 footers smoothing the way.

And a dozen Ribs the first time I know of 2 others who did Alderney before me for a day trip, 1 lady who crossed to Cherbourg for charity, and a group who did Dover / Sangatte.

Congratulations to Josh , I wonder if he would like to join the Floptilla in July
