Penzance Harbour Slipway?

Is there anyone local that can advise me on what tide states the Harbour slipway can be used to launch and recover ribs up to about 6.5m.

Every person I ask I get a different answer

Launching on Friday 26th July around 10am and recovering on Sunday 28th july around lunch time.

I understand that there is a channel dredged next to the wall.

Thanks in advance

Spoke to HM, very helpful chap.

Basically you need to be launched and out of harbour by about 11am at the latest as there is a bank which has built up at the entrance. Should be about 1m at LAT but it is currently about 0m at LAT. Its not shown on the charts. Its spring tides that weekend so tidal heights will drop quickly.

There will be no charge for launching if you mention your all together and going to the Scilly's Although under 6m is usually free anyway.

Parking for car and trailer available in the car park. Will need two tickets. He's not sure whether you can put enough on for the three days but has said if theres an issue to contact him and he will sort something out.

Parking at pz is expensive and not particularly secure. It's a chav skid pan at night. :-/ you need to find an attendant rather than shovel coins in the machine randomly. He'll write you a ticket to cover the time required. The last time we did a three nighter out of PZ, it was £45 from memory.

Yes £45 and the car and trailer is in a public car park for 3 days, I think you need to keep to the harbour wall side of the slip as there is a ledge or step on the other pic here

I parked my car and trailer in the main penzance car park which cost around £75 for the week.

A couple of friends used a secure parking site with drop off:

Take it easy out there as there are a few wreck already, it's a fantastic place to take a rib I'm going back next year.
