Do you mean Conwy? Holyhead isn’t tidal and to my knowledge has never had petrol

No, I mean Holyhead - RibRide have installed a petrol pump - right next to Langdon’s restaurant. You can get petrol 2 hours either side of high tide. You pay at the marina office. Guy at Ribride asked me to spread the word as he only uses it a few months during bird watching trips and would obviously like more trade.

Ribride (or Porth Daniel where they operate from on the Menai straits) are the only place you can get petrol on the Menai straits and the price of unleaded isn’t really that expensive compared to some marinas, I can get around Anglesey from ty calch where my boat is stored without having to stop to refuel, it is just handy to know it there now, might use my other boat a bit more now [emoji15][emoji15]

I’m hoping to do a loop of Anglesey this year poss September and being able to get fuel on that Sid of the island is great, was thinking of launching from ty calch to do it too and go clockwise but being able to get fuel both sides means a last minute change is possible and less nerve racking.

No idea to be honest pal, I have to drive half hour for fuel and mess about with 5 Jerry cans so the extra cost will cover the hassle, but I’m hoping to be on the water Friday / sat so I’ll make a point of getting prices, I’ll also let you know how efficient they are at getting the pump on... if it turns out you have to wait half hour each time then it changes things again. I’m thinking of phoning before I go just to make sure someone’s around to help
