19 th of July is the poker run and everyone is welcome - all the info you need is on http://groups.msn.com/offshoreuk - just look under messages on the left hand side - including an entry form - just print it off and write out a cheque - for £50 + £5 per person. And that includes lunch and the evening party. We will definitely be there with the BananaShark, and I hope there will be lot's of ribs there to enjoy the fun.

I know there is a minimum speed and maybe length as well so I'm guessing Keith (I know it's small but it's the only one I've got) Hart might not be able to attend in his own boat but there are often people with room in just like at Plymouth.

You had better be there Mr Crazyhorse man - maybe Grinch will give you a ride again!

I did the last one and it was a hoot - I even managed to hose Mr Fuller down! (his fault for crossing behind me so close LOL)

Yeh, I'm hoping for 500 fare paying passengers, then the following week it's going up to Henshaws to be tubed.

Don't know whether to go for a hard nose or not!

Is that Dirk or the Boat?. to be serious though if you are going to get it tubed I'd use hypalon instead of PVC.

Is it the DW Clubhouse?

Both! But I think with the increasing incidences of "rapid involuntary tube removal" said vessel may be a safer, more sea-worthy craft left as she is! LOL.

Spose I'll get a load more flack now for smiling.

Yes you will, but that's why you did it.

The good thing is that Mike and Di are both safe and sound.

From what I understand they are both hugely experienced sailors so It's something they can probably get over . I aint done it but I imagine you get a few scary moments on a solo global circumnavigation.

Looking on the positive side, Tubes mostly ripped off, cabin half full of water and they drove off after running repairs

R.U. on the water today, cos I though I saw a Raffmarine original on the DW pontoons,

Price?

I reprinted the information recieved from Fiona Pascoe (That's why the dates were wrong to start with!) - As I understood it the price is £50 for the boat and £5 for each person, presumably including the driver, so the minimum for boat and driver is £55

Quote:
just print it off and write out a cheque - for £50 + £5 per person.
Please as a co-organiser can you clarify this so that I can correct the postings that I have splattered around the internet (again!)

It's ok Jon I've spoken to Fiona and she says you're wrong and can't add up hahahah so to clarify for everyone:

Entry is £50 for the boat and £5 for EACH person including the skipper.

There you go even someone without tubes on thier boat should be able to understand that!
