The Needles to Portland Bill would be a good one.

Suspect I'm getting confused here but I thought Mark and Pete D. did the Poole Cherbourg in Richard Carr's boat Vulture Ventures’ aka Buzzi Buzzard.

Wasn't aware Andy's boat had the Vulture Ventures’ name.

Sure we'll see Andy having a go next year and if the bi-turbo's are in he should have a good chance at the record.

Regards

Mark

Yeh, as usual, you are confused. The Techno was the weapon of choice for messrs pascoe & dredge, with david sewell of raceboat mag together with another journo. The rib had been brought over to the UK by Buzzi for a not very successful round britain attempt, following which Mark talked Buzzi into allowing him to do the poole-cherbourg. After which it was returned to Italy.

It was later on when Roger Fletcher bought the rib, who later still sold it to Andy.

As usual in my old age I become confused rather too easily. Now you replay the whole story I remember it.

When we were in Plymouth Buzzi was talking to Andy and said he built that boat for himself and used it for taking his daughter on holiday a few times.

Most people invest in a caravan Buzzi uses a dangerous tool like that for family holidays; marvellous !

Cheers
