Poor Fuel!

Noticed on my last trip that my top speed had reduced by about 8knts, the engine seemed fine, conditions were good. I wasnt till later that my wife was complaining that her car didnt seem to be running right and was lumpy. we had filled her car up at the same jet garage where i also filled the tank on the boat. Is it possible that if the fuel was iffy it could reduce power output even though the engine on the boat sounded ok???

Poissibly, i would suggest you fit a water seperating filter on the boat to stop it from happening in the future.
