port glasgow slipway-important

i know a few of the lads in west of scotland use the slipway at port glasgow but there is now a metal height restriction barrier over the entrance road. there is a padlock on it but there is no info who has the key anywhere to be found.

the height restriction is 1.8m so you can pretty much get nothing through there now. unfortunately this is all because of the travelers frequently using the ground.

i'm trying to find out where to get the key and if i find out will report back.

the slip in question is Newark Castle public slipway.

unfortunately the ones to blame IMO are the travelling folks. they frequent that bit of ground as the views are stunning. they are there atleast 3x a year so i'm not surprised they have done this. however it would be nice to have a number to call to get a key or something.
