Didn't know there was a slip. Boats used to be craned in. It's pretty tidal in the whole port either way, after even 1-3 tide you won't get out to the Strait.
You'd be best driving the 5 mile round to Menai Bridge slip. Right under the bridge is a fully tidal slip with great smooth new surface. Porto Daniel can provide parking/trailer storage/launch if you wish.

Completely agreed, lived at the TOC H center there for a summer when i was 16 (god that was a long time ago...).
All our boats were launched elsewhere, including the above, we used to leave the displacement launch alongside the center some evenings, but had to plan when we would next need it.

It's a council slip I think so normal insurance and fees.... if anyone is there. In ten years we never paid, however it's been re-furnished recently and the porth Daniel yard use it, so it may be down to them.
