Pro Marine Rib Shine

A friend of mine has just used this product to clean her RIB. The product has made the tubes streaky. Could anyone tell me if they have had the same problem and how they got rid of the streakyness.

I found the same problem using this product. It seemed to streak and stain a little on the dark blue patches but didn't show up on the light grey area.

I found that a good scrub with fairy liquid got rid of most of the staining, and then after a few weeks it was back to normal after regular cleaning.

I wouldn't use Rib Shine again on dark coloured tubes.

I did the tubes on my P22 a couple of weeks ago and they are dark blue as well. I found similar streaking but put this down to uneven application. I was using a rag which ended up soaked in Rib Shine and just went over the area again and gave it all a good rinse off and all seemed well.

There does indeed seem to be a problem on darker colours, there is no doubt that this stuff is good for cleaning. I found using it in direct warm sunshine the problem is much worse, I think if the Ribshine beggins to dry you get it the worst. I still think it is a great product as will continue to stock it.

Thanks Tim. Will pass the info on. The tubes are light blue so may be a little more difficult to get rid of streaking. Can you recommend anything else.

Promarine Ribshine

Ribshine made my dark grey tubes streaky, but this soon came off with cream cleaner which seems to be just as effective but much cheaper.
