Probs with Hydros in following seas?

Hello everyone,

i've just bought that SE 300 Hydrofoil for my Ribcraft 4.8 as a bargain from privat.

Not that she needs that hydro, but for that little money I would give it a try, perhaps the boat is running more comfortable und with less fuel consumption underway with that foil.

My Motor is a 65hp Suzuki DT

Now I read that someone was telling he had some Problems with the foils in heavy following seas.

I sometimes bring my boat to her Limits when going out for fishing and would like to know if someone can tell me if it is probably dangerous to Mount These foils.

Anyone out there who has mounted foils in a similar Setup and can tell about driving characteristics in swell, big seas, etc?

Thank you!

Erik
