Lots of tat about though, tatty SR4's with average engines on boatsandoutboards for £4k! Some people must get ripped off!

Well, if any ribnetters do fancy a refurb project, I have just the thing to smarten either boat up immediately...

Shameless plug!
(although if I had any money, I would be looking closely at the second one)

Depends on the size of your auxilliary!
I am not an expert in such matters, but it looks to me as thought it would be up for the job. It is a mighty solid bit of kit, especially for a 4m boat. If I knew where swindon was I'd offer you a viewing.

This is interesting:
http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/F100783
doesn't look to be alot of V in that hull so unlikely to be an SR4 in this respect. Must be one of the Avon Sports boat models, be interesting to see how they have engineered the engine into it.

I just realised if I bought it I wouldn't be able to get my boat in the garage anymore.I have to remove my own A-frame to do it but it's a lot easier to remove than yours.
DAMN.

This one extends approximately 105 centimeters from the top of the transom (it's actually a bit less becaus of the rakish backwards angle, but I have no means of measuring that).
Surely a couple of wing nuts on the base of the legs, and some spangly fastners on the transom mountings would enable quick release?
