project diesel jet drive

hello all.. ;-) brand new to this stuff.. have bought an aluminium 20 fthull with hypalon tubes which had a jet drive and diesel engine in.now removed.no idea what they were.so...now to make a good boat to use in tidal water/coastal use. got a jet drive from e bay 150mmdia bore and intend to fit it on the back and reinstal a diesel.so...got a bwm deep sea 21 with 230hp yanmar td in it engine is good.thought id use the engine..jet drive in it is knackered..castoldi 238. am i way out on bore size of jet drive or can it work? does anyone know? or should i downsize engine and save on fuel? any ideas or help greatfully recieved . jimjam

I was wondering whether to go and look at that BWM. What else was wrong with it apart from the jet drive?

hi there...drive shaft must of come lose, smashed bell housing on castoldi and ripped out raw water intake...hope they werent at sea, other than that rib is ok,good trailer, just bought it for the engine though think its a tad on the large side ;-)

Is it the yellow hull with blue tubes that was in the London Docklands?

was in hayling island..bit of hull damage but onlya few hours work work ;-) anyone got any ideas on a 230 yanmar ith a 150mm jet drive? am i miles out on bore size ?
