Managed to grab a couple hours tonight before holidays.

I stripped out all the dodgy wiring in the console and binned the lot. Nothing worth keeping apart from the battery leads and even then they will get used for something else, 16mm2 cable, a bit thin imo.

I took out the dozens of screws holding the console to the deck and tried to lift it out, no chance. It's bonded to the floor with what must be sikaflex or its equivalent. I lifted the whole boat up off the trailer when I tried to lift console.

Plan b will be when I get back.

Bosch multi tool with long blade Alan then hard wood wedges from one corner that's how I did my seat bases no damage to floor or bases then

You see the bits of white on the console footprint? That's fibreglass from the console flange.

Got to love a project!

I may have missed a step on this but as i haven't read the whole thread. The boat was originally at the outward bound centre at Loch Eil and had been funded by Durex, Used to give everyone a laugh.
