Any progress on the Destroyer Alan?
I got my Attaque re-tubed, but didn't manage a console/seating change. That will have to be this winters project as the Rib is off to the Isles of Scilly next week for the season.

Project Humber Destroyer.
Hi Dominic. Unfortunately nothing has happened to my rib, work and broken promises have got in the way.
If you don't mind me asking.... What kind of ballpark figure is a retube? Might be something I would think about.
Your Rib looks smart.

Project Humber Destroyer.
Right, we're up and running again.
Deck and transom has been ground back ready for flowcoat, new seat and console.
Tubes have had a major overhaul, new hull tapes and wear patches under cones, the cones have had a hard life by being caught on the jetty corners once or twice.
DUREX patches are off, just need to come up with a boat name so I can get new patches made.

Looks like it is coming along nicely.
I am back over to Scilly next week for 10 days. Looking forward to being back on the water.
I am seriously considering another Humber to have at home for the weekends.

Used hangover Sunday to give tubes a good scrub then a few coats of Aerospace 303.
I've now got sore arms to match my sore head!
Wiring A frame tonight.

Aye it's good stuff Dave, the fact it has SPF qualities makes it all the better. Armour All makes a better job but it's LETHAL, I did a test patch on the top of a tube on Red Mist ('twas on trailer) and ten mins later it started to rain, I leaned on said test patch to jump out boat and before I knew it I was in a heap on the ground. Never again.

Aye, tried Armour all, had the same results. It also contains petroleum distillates which aren't good for the Hypalon apparently.

That's interesting, I have just started using the Armor all semi matt version after Ribcraft themselves said that is what they use
Not found it slippy though.
