Well this saga is almost finished. I'd probably been as well buying a new one.
Couple of little bits to finish like sealing cabling trunks to deck, fitting new bow eye and stick in a tank breather but it's as good as done.
Thank you to the people on here who have helped in any way.

Thanks gents.
Can anyone tell me why the breather is so big on boat fuel tanks? It's only an 8mm outlet but a 15mm breather

Gas out not under pressure or volume to dilute in air safely.and fuel flow not restricted by suction

Maiden voyage today, what a day for a blast!
Boat was perfect BUT... the battery voltage is running at 14.9v. that's as high as I've ever seen an engine charging. Engine is a Yamaha F80, battery is an Optima blue top.
