Yes, I am quite pleased with the outcome. I have no seats fitted yet but got a plan for those and need to add some basic electronics. I started with a plan to buy a Ribcraft for $70k but could not justify it. I purchased the boat/trailer/engine for $10K and I think I will end up putting another $3k into it so not too bad. Labor cost was only a nickel per hour of course.

You got a raise? Looks great

I have yet to break even but having loads of FUN anyway. Lost the gas cap, do not know how, went to the local supply house 3 different sizes and none of the above fit. 6 hrs later new filler installed, then they tell me Tempo the brand I bought is out of business so bought the last cap the had just incase I lose it again

LOMAC electrical

Nothing works electrically except the engine. I wonder why, see pics.
Nothing is colour coded , just those little plastic clip on wire numbers.
Oh well. here goes another couple of days.

Ugh! The possibility of pasty green copper wiring rears its ugly head... hope it is a simple fix...

Soaked the whole thing in WD40. Still could not make any sense of the readings I was getting on the m/meter. Major symtom was no ground to anything. Cleaned terminals, still no ground ?????. Well after an hour or two figured out that some idiot had disconnected the live feed from the battery to console and tucked it down in the bilge. The neg. feed was connected to the pos. side of the battery. Got it all sorted and believe it or not everything works. Stll going to have to rip it all out and redo; but that will have to wait a while. BEWARE OF PREVIOUS OWNERS.
Cheers, T
