That’s one tidy boat. Detail is superb. Out of interest have you kept a tally on total cost? Understand if you’d prefer not to say or think about it 🤣

A rough tally would see it around 20k. That’s not including my time which to me is part of the fun of doing this kind of thing. If I was to account for my time I’d be better off buying a boat but to me the fun is as much in doing the work as using the boat.
If you had to pay someone to build a boat to the same standard as this one the figures just wouldn’t stack up.

That’s a cracking boat for 20k considering you pretty much have a new boat and enjoyed the process. Hats off..

Im about to embark on the same with my 585. Would you be willing to share how you measured the correct place to access the fuel tank and where you purchased the tank ?

A1an, I just noticed this post. Would you also be able to share what sort of performance you get with the Yam 115? What sort of revs at 28-30kts (or speed at 4500rpm that sort of thing). Top speed interersting to know but really cruising speed and revs I'm wondering about. What cc is the Yamaha? Thanks.

basically it’s 22-24knts at 4700rpm. Top speed…I did a WOT test to check max rpm and I think it was in the region of 34-36knts. There was another member of this forum on board at the time watching the dash, maybe he can remember.
It’s a 1.8L engine.
